The reborn Legacy of TSX Hypercar, a brand founded by the visionary hypercar designer Qendrim Thaqi, marks a new chapter in the world of high-performance automobiles. After generating significant buzz through a series of social media teasers that captivated the sports car community, the vehicle is now ready to be revealed in all its glory.
The Arrera TSX dares to defy the conventions of the modern automotive industry. Rejecting the trends of electrification, over-digitalization, and intrusive driver aids, it strips driving back to its most primal and exhilarating form unfiltered, untamed, and unapologetically mechanical. Inspired by the golden era of motorsport, from the raw aggression of '60s F1 and Le Mans racers to the timeless mastery of classic Italian design houses, the TSX embodies the essence of the Italian "form follows function" philosophy. But its vision doesn't stop there mathematical precision meets the rebellious spirit of avant-garde metal, resulting in a design language that is as radical as it is purposeful. The TSX isn't just a car; it's a manifesto against compromise , an engineering symphony where every line, every surface, and every element exists for a reason—driven by passion, not convention.
Qendrim set out to craft a design that felt both groundbreaking and instinctively familiar something that looked as if it was always meant to exist. The result is the TSX: a masterpiece of form and function, where taut cross-sections and fluid curves work in perfect harmony to create a body that is both aerodynamically honed and aesthetically timeless. Every detail is a study in contrast. The purity of its sculpted surfaces is boldly offset by the exposed, intricately engineered heart of the machine its mechanical soul laid bare for all to admire. Staying true to Italian design philosophy, the TSX rejects excess ornamentation in favor of an unrelenting pursuit of purposeful beauty. Here, every line serves a function, every element has intent, and nothing exists without reason.
The TSX features a bespoke aluminium with lightweight
aluminum-alloy subframes. In contrast to "fashionable"
composite subframes, the designer deliberately chose a
aluminium approach to improve access to the drivetrain
components while effortlessly facilitating heat extraction
and celebrating the mechanical aesthetic.
The TSX was designed and planed from the ST Saldature &
Supernova team in Motorvalley, IT, to provide perfect
viewing angles with ideal ergonomics and safety. The
designer was able to achieve an incredibly low roofline and
compact cabin dimensions without sacrificing comfort.
The TSX redefines the driving experience, offering an
interior layout designed with functionality and comfort in
mind. The spacious, traditional side-by-side seating
arrangement ensures best-in-class ingress and egress, thanks
to the generously wide Elytra doors, low sill heights, and
sunken seats. These features work in harmony to provide
unobstructed access, while the seats themselves avoid
interfering with the door apertures, offering a seamless
entry and exit.
The driving experience in the TSX is rooted in the purity of
manual interaction, where every input is met with immediate
feedback. The only digital screen present are the Digital
tacho, infotainment system in the middle and the rearview
camera/mirror strategically placed to overcome the common
blind spot of mid-engine sports cars, ensuring clear
rearward visibility.
The new steering wheel, compact and perfectly contoured,
offers an unmatched level of precision and tactile
connection, allowing for the most detailed steering feel. It
is equipped with a minimalistic array of switches, buttons,
and toggles, reflecting the philosophy that performance
driving demands full concentration and a focus on the
essentials. Gone are the distractions of driving modes,
settings, and endless options TSX brings you back to the
pure, intuitive art of driving, where every control is
immediate, and every action is deliberate.
Every element of this machine is a love letter to pure, unfiltered driving. The seven-speed manual transmission delivers an unfiltered, mechanical connection between man and machine—an ode to raw, analog performance. Yet, it isn't just about nostalgia; the inclusion of a reverse gear enhances safety, proving that precision engineering and pure driving thrills can coexist. Every element, from the steering wheel and pedal box to the headrest and door mirrors, is adjusted through deliberate, mechanical controls offering the driver a deeply satisfying, hands-on experience. These meticulously crafted billet-machined levers and switches provide an immediate, cold-touch response, delivering an unmatched level of tactile engagement. Beyond the sensory thrill, this tactile approach ensures an instinctive, distraction free interaction proving that, in the relentless pursuit of automotive excellence, mechanical precision.
The TSX hypercar is Qendrim's vision in its purest form; a vision he's been perfecting since 2016. It will initially be available in an extremely limited run with production capped at 27 units.
"My journey in this industry was never about conforming or playing by the rules," "From the very beginning, I've trusted my instincts and pursued my vision without hesitation. Breaking conventions? That was never the goal—it was simply the consequence of chasing something greater. The TSX is no different. It refuses to bow to fleeting trends or industry expectations. Instead, it redefines what a car can be, stripping away the unnecessary in pursuit of a purer, more visceral driving experience—one that speaks to the soul, not just the times."
"Unveiling the TSX to the world is a moment that surpasses
the mind—it's the realization of an obsession, the
embodiment of years of sacrifice, relentless pursuit, and
unshakable belief. This machine wasn't created overnight; it
was forged through countless sleepless nights, endless
refinement, and a refusal to accept anything less than
excellence. The road here was brutal—breaking barriers,
defying conventions, and pushing beyond every imaginable
limit. I was privileged to learn from the best, but
knowledge alone isn't enough. Vision, endurance, and an
unrelenting drive made the difference. Now, with my team by
my side, we stand on the brink of a new era, ready to
unleash a creation that isn't just a car, but a testament to
everything we've fought for."
TSX honered with ST Saldature and Supernova in Santagata Bolognese, at Motorvalley in Italy to produce one of the most powerful and visually striking naturally aspirated engines in the world. The TSX engine bay is fully exposed, showcasing the beautiful 6.2-liter, 80-degree V8.
As TSX rarely on electrification, it aims to be the world's most powerful, naturally aspirated hypercar. To achieve this, the V8 will deliver 950 horsepower. And while its large bore and short stroke will make it rev like an electric motor, the even-fire engine will provide the driver with the perfect amount of tactile vibration.
The V8 has a refined combustion area, high-flow ports, and performance-style valve geometry: something OEMs typically cannot accommodate in their compact platforms. The engine also features 8 large, individual throttle bodies for instant throttle response.
Another key differentiator for the TSX its unique V8. In this configuration, the conventional exhaust and intake positions are swapped around. The setup delivers key advantages when it comes to packaging, heat extraction, and aesthetics. And it has allowed the stunning "snakepit" 8-into- 2 exhaust headers to serve as a unique highlight of the exterior design.
The entire exhaust system is Manifactured in Motorvalley, allowing the complex design to be realized; another unique feature when you consider its dimensions.
Mated to the seven-speed CIMA manual transmission, and housed in the ceramic-coated aluminum-alloy subframe, the TSX sents functional beauty at its finest. Massimiliano Silverstri, founder and CEO of ST Saldature, said.
"We've created something with the power to stir the soul—engineering that's not just technical, but intense and a little bit wild.
When Qendrim's vision for the TSX took shape, it became clear that this was the perfect project to bring our passion to life. Unlike any conventional approach, we built the engine to perfectly complement the bespoke chassis layout crafted specifically for Arrera Automobili.
Let me be clear: this is not an OEM engine reworked to fit. This is a unique, large-bore, short-stroke powerhouse with aggressive cams, enhanced port flow, lightweight components, and exotic materials. The goal was to create a machine that makes your heart race every time that V8 roars to life. It's safe to say, we are beyond excited! At ST Saldature, we've been perfecting the art of aluminum chassis manufacturing for over 30 years, providing excellence in the heart of Motor Valley. Our partnership with Arrera Automobili means delivering the finest rolling chassis, certified by CUNA and designed to elevate the TSX. It's an honor to bring this level of craftsmanship to such an extraordinary project, and we look forward to seeing the TSX dominate the roads."
The Arrera hypercar employs a double wishbone, pushrod suspension, with its extremely long wishbones visible from the rear; the length contributing to the exceptionally precise and compliant handling characteristics. A set of Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires were fitted, specified at 315/35 R20 front and 345/30 R21 rear. They have been mounted to 10x20" and 13x21" Nilu27 normalock wheels, which were designed in-house with intricate lightweight detailing to reduce the unsprung weight. The wheels are produced by BTS in Italy.
Carbon-ceramic braking equipment was sourced from Brembo. The Italian company ST SALDATURE are fitted front and rear in a custom white finish. The car also has Brembo's highest performance CCM-R Plus rotors, which deliver outstanding performance and fade resistance.
The initial TSX and first batch of customer cars will be assembled by Treditech S.R.L in Turin, ITALY, allowing Arrera TSX up its own facilities overseas.
Arrera TSX taneously developing a street homologated version. This variant will be limited to 27 units, four of which will be unique design one-offs.
"We've been fascinated by the strong reaction to our social media teasers alone," said Qendrim Thaqi. "While the world is moving towards electrification, and for very good reason, we firmly believe the timelessness of these cars will not only keep them relevant but they will continue to find a place in the collections of passionate car lovers."
Arrera TSX s proud to have the support of industry leaders such as Treditech & ST Saldature.
